First Post

This blog is dedicated to exploring the emerging and significant influence that social networks and blogs have on marketing and advertising strategies for corporations. I'm not sure where this effort will lead, but I'm certain that the influence that these mediums will have over marketing and advertising strategies in the near future will be significant. Ad spends and strategies by the major marketers in the US are changing dramatically in a not-so-subtle reaction to some of the phenomena we are experiencing in the blogsphere. I hope this blog will provide a forum to help understand the impact and shape its direction.
